Impact

Assalamu Alaikum. My name is Farida Jawando and the idea for Ready, FAITH, Quiz! first came to me during deep conversations with my Christian friends about God and faith. Having attended both madrasa (Islamic school) and Christian school for academic education while growing up, I was familiar with different religions but one moment truly struck me. A friend shared the story of Prophet Job A.S, and I realized with surprise that this was Prophet Ayyub A.S in Islam. Another Christian friend described waking up at 4:00am to worship and reconnect with God. Subḥanallah, it reminded me of my own responsibility to rise for Fajr prayer, read the Qur’an, and remember Allah (dhikr). That experience lit a fire within me: I needed to do better and compete in goodness, as the Qur’an inspires us to do.

 

At first, I wanted to create a game that brought the Abrahamic faiths together. But as my own connection with Allah grew stronger, I saw a greater need within the Muslim community. We had so few fun, authentic, and high-quality games that reflect our faith. I wanted to be part of the change.

 

As a former athlete, I carry the athlete mindset into everything I do: discipline, perseverance, resilience, and a love for healthy competition. That same spirit drives Ready, FAITH, Quiz!: a game that sparks curiosity, inspires reflection, and brings us closer to Allah in joyful ways — one question at a time. In Sha Allah, this is only the beginning.
